Lead-free standards included in this revision. The J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies is the authority for electronics assembly manufacturing. This standard describes materials, methods and verification criteria for producing high quality soldered interconnections. The standard emphasizes process control and sets industry-consensus requirements for a broad range of electronic products. The CIS level of certification is written for Operators, Quality Assurance, Engineers, and Mangers working to strengthen their company through applying these standards. |
