This course presents the Internationally accepted Inspection Standards for the completed electronics Printed Circuit Board(s). Revision 'D' includes the Lead-free Inspection & Soldering information with the latest technology changes. With the CIT certification, you will be able to successfully train and certify your students/employees to the IPC-A-610D CIS level. You are provided with a complete of set of training materials, and given specific instruction on how to be a competent instructor.

Course Content:
The course consists of the following chapters of study to determine the Acceptability of Electronics Assemblies:
Introduction to IPC, Roles & Responsibilities as an Instructor, Applicable Documents, ESD, Hardware, Soldering (Including Lead-free issues), Terminals, Through Hole Technology, Surface Mount Technology, Component Damage, Printed Circuit Board & Assemblies, Discrete Wiring & Jumper Wires, High Voltage
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a full set of instructor materials: Certificate of Completion, IPC-A-610D manual, 15 Open & 15 Closed book CIS exams, Answer sheet keys, Blank documents to be completed after each class taught & the IPC-A-610D CIT presentation CD, used for teaching classes at your companies site.
