7711B/7721B CIT Trainer
In this course, you will learn the IPC-approved procedures & requirements, tools, materials and methods to be used in the Modification, Rework, and Repair of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies. Lead-free standards, materials included in this class.
Each Instructor/Student who successfully completes the course will be given a complete set of instructional materials, allowing them to train & certify others to the CIS level IPC-7711/7721.

Modules
1 continuous module with certification testing on the final day. Successful rework/repair lab is required.
Course Content
Along with the required instructor training, the student will be required to rework/repair the PCB kit to the following lab projects:
7711B Rework:
- Introduction Wire Splicing
- Through Hole Removal/Installation
- Chip & MELF Removal/Installation
- SOT & SOIC Removal/Installation
- BGA Components
- J-lead and QFP Removal/Installation
7721B Modification /Repair:
- PWB Circuit Board Repair
- Laminate Repair
- Conformal Coating Identification

CITs taking the IPC-7711B/7721B CIT Certification Course will receive the following materials:
- IPC-7711B/7721B Standard
- CIT Student Handbook and Certificate
- Instructor Guide for Training CIS
- Written Exam Kit for Certifying CIS - 12 each open book tests with instructor's copies
- CD for training CIS - Includes course visuals, board artwork and printable files with exam answer sheets and keys, workmanship grading sheets, evaluation and reporting forms.
