After taking the IPC-A-610D CIT course 2 years ago from Weeks Planning, I trained over 35 of our assembly operators in the IPC-A-610 CIS certification. We were having a very bad problem when the final inspectors did not know how to judge whether our product was acceptable or not. They would just walk around looking for the engineers to help them decide. Now that they have the training, the final inspectors are able to decide whether the product is acceptable or not, the production line never stops running now.
